Exciting News
Today (Valentine’s day) is probably an appropriate day to reveal this news.
Amber and I are expecting a baby.
This weblog will now be turned into a full-time pregnancy journal. Just kidding. All your favorite content will still be posted, but there will also be pregnancy-related posts by both Amber and me.
However, I don’t think our pregnancy journal will be as interesting and humorous as fishyshark by Kos.

Congratulations!!
I think you guys live apart, you in Atlanta and Amber (alone) in New Jersey. So how are you both going to cope it. Or I am mistaken Amber got someone close (relative or friend) to take care. I mean I’m curious because I and my husband both live in different cities but we are postponing our first child till we can live together in one place.

Thanks, everyone.
Aziz: you are in for a CRAZY ride.
So I’ve heard. Why else do you think it took us 9 years? ;-)
Umair: 1st baby?
Yes.
Anita: you guys live apart, you in Atlanta and Amber (alone) in New Jersey. So how are you both going to cope it.
That’s the difficult part. We are still apart, but hope to be together soon (before the baby is born). The early part of the pregnancy that we are appart is a bit of a problem, but Amber has friends and I try to visit about very other weekend.

Congratulations.
Enjoy the ride ! It can be a bit tense at times, but good old tender loving care takes care of most things.

Yeah yeah, congratsss. I cant wait to see the next generation of the bloggers. They are going to be hell lot better than we losers. So whats the blog name of your child? Mail me as soon as it arrives :)

Thanks, guys.
Ejaz: Don’t you know the next generation will look at blogging like we look at 70s fashion.
Posted by: Zack (1792 comments) at February 16, 2004 11:04 PM
Yes, that’s what I believe too. That’s why I said the next generation bloggers would be hell lot better in every term. The search engines would have been improved a lot and semantic web would be in place to some extent as well as use of XML to be ubiquitous and Internet2 might get something jazzy up there. So, I hope your kids and my kids would have far better internet-enabled life style than we have had. But still we will be cool to tell them how every one hated Bill Gates and Linux sent trembles in the pants of MS executives and how we used to do little silly things just to get poor page ranking (the day the next generation bloggers would be rocking, I am supremely confident this so-called complex algorithmic PR would be simply source of entertainment) etc. And for heaven’s sake, Zack bro, don’t you keep this pale layout for your son/daughter. Yours is still one of the best but c’mon, I am talking about the next generation na :) oh, KO is redesigning too. How about you?

Congratulations Zack and best wishes for the next 9 months ahead.
If I had any shame, I woudl avoid using this happy occasion for extracting another promise of a drink sometime in the future, but since I don’t, chalk another one up for me :)

Thanks, guys.
Conrad: I hope you are keeping count of the number of drinks I owe you. Is it 4?
