Eleven years is a long time. That’s how long Amber and I have been married. Today is our anniversary. We are going to dinner at Nan, a Thai restaurant that recently opened in Midtown to celebrate.

The last year has both been the best and the worst toughest of our married life. For both, the “credit” goes to Michelle. Watching her grow from a tiny baby to a very mobile toddler was worth everything and more, but a kid is a full-time responsibility and hence Amber and my relationship has taken somewhat of a backseat to our role as parents. Anyway, it’s been a fun year.

Happy anniversary!
Is Nan the one on 17th street?

Hey Zack,

You had an interesting comment as the last year seems to be the best and worst for you. I asked Amber today how does she feel? She said “Last year was the best of all my life and credit goes to my love Michelle and Zack”. No mention of being busy or being ignored. And since I knew she is doing multitasking being a mom, a full time engineer with crazy 10+ hrs a day job, managing household chores with an always neat house, throwing fancy dinner parties and amazingly before we leave she has even her dishes done :-), so I asked next question as how she manages to cope with so much “work load” in her life and she said “oh I am not doing much. Its Zack who is really busy as he is the full time dad :-)”

Is it a guy thing to feel being ignored after the baby?

I hope that you received my e-card in time ! Happy annivesary once again. I am late but it was due to being busy in resetting the Study room and some other places. Also electric supply and my ISP were misbehaving.

i being late, Mr or Miss or Mrs kianoush wrote, after talking to my Baytee Ambrin, what I was to write without talking to her. Baytee Ambrin is such a person who works hard continuously without a frown on forehead or giving any sign of tiredness and wiothout expecting any reward. May Allah bless her with all the hapiness and full strength so that she keeps on fulfiling her wish to serve. Aameen.

I am terribly sorry. I actually referred to comment by Mr / Miss / Mrs Jay and not Mr / Miss / Mrs Kianoush

Thanks, everyone.

renee: The food there was awesome and not too expensive either considering they suggested I wear a jacket and tie for the dinner.

Kianoush: That’s the one. On the corner of 17th and Spring. It is owned by the same people who own Tamarind on 14th.

Jay: You are correct, but nowhere did you mention the personal relationship between Amber and me.

Dad: It’s Mr. Kianoush but as you figured out he didn’t write the comment, Ms. Jay (I think) did.
