Pride and Prejudice

September 26th, 2006 Zack Leave a comment Go to comments

The latest movie version of Pride and Prejudice reminds me more of Bride and Prejudice than the BBC miniseries (which was the best). And I have actually forgotten the book completely by now, so cannot compare the movie to the book.

Overall, this version was good. We liked it enough to watch it, but it isn’t great either. I would rate it 7/10.

I like the BBC version the best too (haven’t seen the recent one though). I liked the Bride and Prejudice one just for the fun of it. It is, of course, the best book ever. Man i love that book. :-)

Because i’m not a cool netflixer like everyone else is. :-( I get my stinking movies from the library and if i’m lucky (real real lucky) i get to watch one every other week or so. I can’t wait to see it though!

wayfarer: Even though we use Netflix, we can’t watch many movies either. In fact, we have been downgrading our Netflix plan continually and now have the cheapest possible plan and would downgrade further if a plan was available.
