آپ حج کی معلومات کیوں لے رہے تھے؟ جانے کا پروگرام تو نہیں بنا رہے؟

آپ خواہمخواہ غصہ ہو رہے ہیں۔ مسلمان نام وہ ہوتا ہے جو مسلمانوں کے بنیادی عقائد سے متصادم نہ ہو اور بس۔ آپ کے مطابق مسلمان ہونے یا نہ ہونے کے متعلق مسجد کیسے جانے گی؟ میرے خیال میں یہاں یہ فرض کیا جا رہا ہے کہ اگر کوئی مسلمان ہے تو کم از کم کبھی نہ کبھی تو قریبی مسجد میں آیا ہو گا۔ یہ بھی ہے کہ آپکے مسلمان ہونے یا نہ ہونے کا آپکی کمیونٹی کو علم ہو گا اور کمیونٹی کے ملنے جلنے کی جگہ مسجد ہی ہے، جیسے شرابی ایک دوسرے کو بارز میں ملتے ہیں، کرکٹر ایک دوسرے کو کرکٹ کلب میں دیکھتے ہیں، اسی طرح مسلمان ایک دوسرے کو مسجد میں آتا جات دیکھتے ہیں یا ملتے ہیں۔ شناخت اسلئے ضروری ہے کہ ان مقدس مقامات پر غیر مسلموں کا داخلہ ممنوع ہے۔ خواتین کو اکیلے سفر کی اجازت کیوں نہیں؟ لمبی بحث ہے مگر یہ بھی خیر کا پہلو لیے ہوئے ہے۔ جب اپ اسپر لکھیں گے تو وہاں بات کر لیں گے۔ جہاں تک ٹین ایج کا تعلق ہے، افسوس کہ یہ اچھی خاصی عمر ہوتی ہے جسمیں کئی لوگوں نے کئی بڑے کام کیے، ہم یہ نہیں کہ سکتے کہ ہر ٹین ایجر غیر سمجھدار یا بچہ ہوتا ہے۔ اپکو پسند نہیں آئیگے یہ مچال لیکن محمد بن قاسم بھی تو ٹین ایجر تھا، اور بھی کئی مثالیں ہیں مثلا مائیکل ڈیل کو ہی دیکھ لیں کہ کس عمر سے وہ ڈیل کمپیٹرز چلا رہا ہے۔

ماشاالۂہ اسلام اتنا سہل ہوچکا ہے کہ بتانا مشکل ہے کہ اسلام سے ذيادہ تکليف غيرمسلموں کو ہے يا خود مسلمانوں کو، اور کچھ لوگ خاص طور پہ پنجابی تو ملا کی ہر جہالت کو ڈيفينڈ کرنا اپنے ايمان کا حصہ سمجھتے تھے-

بچپن ميں ہميں بتايا جاتا تھا کہ نبی نے خود عيسائ وفد کو مسجد نبوی ميں عبادت کرنے کو کہا جبکہ وفد باہر جاکہ عبادت کرنا چاہتا تھا- اب يہ باتيں جھوٹ محسوس ہوتی ہيں کيونکہ مسلمانوں کی حرکتيں ہی اب کچھ اور ہيں-

کيا کوئی غيرمسلم حج پہ جانے کی کوشش کرے گا؟ کوئی مسلم تو ويٹيکن جاکے عبادت کرنے کو بيتاب نہيں ہے- کامن سنس بھی کوئی چيز ہوتی ہے ليکن پنجانی کے ليئے ملا کی جہالت ہی عقل کی حد ہے اور وہ بڑے زور شور سے اس جہالت کو سپورٹ کرتے ہيں-

yeah na samjha jai kay Punjabioon main koi quality nahain hai…Punjabi aam tore say baray khulay dil kay log hotay hain…siraf zara kore magaz hotay hain..yanee “their hearts are bigger than their brains” wala maamla hai.

میں سخت حیران ہوں اس کو ملا ملا ملا کے سوا بھی کچھ بولنا آتا ہے کہ نہیں۔
ایک نیا کام پنجابی پکڑا ہوا کہ پڑھ لیا کون کہاں سے ہے اور شروع۔ پرانی بیماری ہے ایسے تو نہیں جاتی نہ۔ ایسا شخص ذہنی بیمار لگتا ہے جس کو ہر چیز میں ملا نظر آتا ہے اور مخالف ملا کا ڈیفینڈر۔
اس نے بات کی مسجد نبوی کی میرا خیال ہے کسی ملا کی مار سے یہ کافی پہلے ہی نکل بھاگے تھے۔ اوپر سے عورتوں کی طرح ان کو تھوڑی تھوڑی دیر بعد بات یاد آتی ہے نتیجہ میں کمنٹس کی ایک لائن لگا دیتے ہیں جیسے پیٹ خراب ہو۔
مسجد حرام کے ارد گرد ایک مخصوص علاقہ ہے غیر مسلم اس کے اندر نہیں جا سکتے اور ظاہری بات یہ ملا نے تو نہیں لگائی۔ یہ پابندی تو اللہ نے لگائی۔
مسجد نبوی اس علاقہ میں شامل نہیں لہذا غیر مسلم وہاں جاتے ہیں۔ اندر نہ صحیح مدینہ تو جاتے ہیں۔ اگر لاکھوں کروڑوں غیر مسلم نہیں جانا چاہتے تو سوچنے والی بات ہے جو جانا چاہے گا وہ کیوں؟ خیر چھوڑیں
عورت والی بات انٹرسٹنگ ہے۔ اب یہ نہیں علم کہ کیوں۔ ان کا ایف اے کیو پیچ ڈاؤن ہے۔ اچھی بات ہوتی کہ اگر اس کی وضاحت پوچھ لیتے۔ کیا مرد کے لئے ایسی اجازت درکار نہیں؟

یہاں جاپان میں بھی اس طرح کا مسئلہ ہے کہ جب کوئی خاتون اسلام قبول کرتی ہو تو اس کو ایک عربی نام دے دیتے ہیں ـ
اور اس کو مسلم نیم کہتے ہیں ـ
میری کئی دفعہ لوکوں سے اس بات پر بحث ہوئی ہے اور اخر پر یہ لوگ کہتے ہیں کہ ہم تم کو کسی عالم سے ملوائیں گے
ہم تم سے پورے نہین آسکتے
میں نے اپنی بیوی کا نام نہین بدلا
کیوں کہ اس کے نام کے معنی کسی بھی غیر اللّہ سے تعلق والے نہیں ہیں ـ
بہت سے کم عقلیں کو یہ بھی معلوم نہیں ہوتا کہ لبنان میں عیسائیون اور مسلمانون کے نام ایک ہی جیسے ہیں
جیسے کہ پاکستان میں بھی کتنے ہی نام عیسائی سکھ اور مسلمانوں میں ایک جیسے ہیں ـ
اقبال سہیل جاوید لیاقت پرویز ریاض مالک صادق اور کتنے ہی نام ہیں جو کسی بھی مذہب میں ہوسکتے ہیں مگر
میرے خیال میں تو دھرم داس بھی کسی مسلمان کا نام ہو سکتا ہے
اہل حدیث کہلوانے والوں کی مساجد میں اس بات کو زیادہ اچھالا جاتا ہے ـ
کہ ہر چیز کو عربی بنانے پر تلے ہوتے ہیں
باقی جی تسی وی پڑھے لکھے ہو
ہون اسی تہانوں کی دسیے ـ

I haven’t re-read it in a while, but this reminds me to look up whether Malcolm X mentions getting a certificate to prove his muslim-ness when going to hajj in his autobiography.

I would make a few points regarding the permission to non muslims to enter Mecca and Medina. It is based on my limited knowledge of history and might be wrong.
When the prophet(SAW) allowed the Arab Christians of Najran to pray in the mosque in the capital of Islamic state, it was before 9 hijra( the year prophet delivered his farewell sermon and the year when the last aya of Muslim Holy scripture was revealed). In 8 hijra , the prophet had asked his spokes man (ALI raziAllah anha) to declare at the annual pilgrimage of Mecca that any amnesty granted to nonmuslims(specifically those involved in political resistance to the Islamic state) in Arabia stands nullified by the order of Allah revealed in the Surah Tauba’s first few verses( some scholars cite this as the reason that the trademark Bismillah ar Rahman ar Rahim is not a part of this sura as Allah has not shown mercy to the infidels).
During the reign of Noorud din Zangi, a Kurd Ruler who gained popularity in the crusades in the 12th century, two non muslims were arrested from Medina and were charged of plotting to excavate the prophet’s body from his grave( May Allah bestow peace and protection on Prophet Muhammad and his progeny). It being holy to all the Muslims, the ruler asked that the area around the mosque be fortified by an uderground tunnel filled with lead and reinforced with iron. This is quite widely quoted incident and can easily be found on searching the net.
Of course the pious caliphs sometimes made exceptions to the rules of state but their intention was always for the popular good according to popular muslim belief.
After the fall of the mighty Persian Empire in the reign of Caliph Umar(razi Allah anha), the Arabic governor of Persia told him about a Magian slave who excelled in the art of making mills. The caliph asked him to be sent to the capital of Islamic state and asked him to make some mills for the Medinites. He complained that the govener in persia extols unnecessary taxes on him to which the caliph replied that it was not undue keeping in mind the revenues he generated. This slave then conspired with a former magian general in Medina to assassinate the caliph of muslims( May Allah Be pleased with him). He succeeded in it.He is quite revered among the Magian communities.
Caliph Umar succumbed to his wounds on 2nd of Zilhajj in 21 hijra.
A recent non muslim historian included the caliph Umar among the top 20 people who influenced mankind and history.

Saad, you have completely missed the point. In trying to support something stupid from Mullahs you have gone to such long irrelevant discussion. The question here is not about non-Muslims, but about Muslims i.e. why is it being made so difficult for Muslims and how are such Muslims to get round it? If your local mosque does not know you, all they can ask you is to recite kalima as that is the only requirements for being Muslim. So it seems this practice of getting a certificate from mosques is over zealous and is not serving any real purpose.

However taking your point about non-Muslims, considering all those extremely occasional and some even baseless (finding something on internet is no proof) events and following your logic, no Muslim should be allowed anywhere into the western world after all the suicide attacks by Muslims. However this will not sit with you as well as it does when you are the one barring others. It does not matter if Mekka is a holy place and US isn’t, US citizen’s are as keen to keep themselves safe as anyone else. But as I said this is not the point of the post.

Sir, I was not supporting anyone,the Women need to travel with a relative on account of the law of K.S.A and it is the same for any one regardless of her citizenship ( unless she belongs to the Saudi Royal Family) and the law might not necessarily be according to popular muslim belief( i am not now saying that this law is not Shariah abiding).
and regarding your point that NonMuslims being allowed to travel, then for your information, Gibbon was a very famous Arab expert of the early 20th century and he actually made a pilgrimage to Mecca on account of false muslim identity and did actually write about it in his home country U.K. Personally If i was a law maker , i would not have made such a law or restriction but that is my personal decision and I would have to read up the Islamic jurisprudence to see whether it is shariah abiding.

By chance I fell sick on December 18 and remained lazy for about two weeks, so my comment is late. These days may laws, rules and traditions are not from Islam but coined by people who call themselves Muslim. These rules in Saudi may or may not be logical as rules are in any other country may it be USA or Japan.
So far as renaming a convert is concerned, most probably, people follow example of Lady Maria Qibtia who, who on becoming Muslim, was renamed as Asma by Prophet Muhammad may peace be upon him.
Human being can err. This year Saudi Arabia declared Hajj and Eid ul Adha a day earlier as a result of which month of ZilHajj became 31 days.
