Indiana Jones

Since the new Indiana Jones movie was coming out, we had to watch the older ones again before the new one.

Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark was the first Indiana Jones movie and I believe the best one. I rate it 9/10.

Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom was the worst of the old series. The child’s character was mostly for comedic effect and even the adventures of Indy weren’t that fun. I rate it 6/10.

The third movie Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade was much better with Sean Connery as Indiana Jones’s father. I rate it 8/10.

Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull has come out after a break of almost two decades. It is a reasonably good movie. However, considering the progress of computer generated graphics in recent years, this movie is not good. It uses too much CGI and does not do it very well. Overall, I would rate it 7/10.

If you are interested in the archeology related to the things mentioned in the Crystal Skull, you can find out more here. As always, don’t rely on movies for archeology, history or science.

In the end, I would highly recommend this series of fun movies. And if you haven’t watched them, you must have been living in a cave.
